  • Brian Peck

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Brian Peck, DVM resides in Gardnerville, Nevada, with his wife, Holly. They are parents to two children: Cole, who teaches at a local high school, and Casey, who is attending college in Montana. As a native of Montana, Brian pursued his higher education at Montana State University before advancing to the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1999, the family moved to Gardnerville and co-founded Great Basin Equine. In 2021, Brian started Yellowstone Veterinary to address the growing need for mobile large animal veterinary services in the Carson Valley and the surrounding areas. His role as the sole practitioner at Yellowstone Veterinary has enabled him to maintain and continue the longstanding relationships he has fostered with his clients and their animals over the years.

  • Clint Malarchuk

    Equine Dentist

    Clint Malarchuk resides in Gardnerville, Nevada with his wife Joanie. Clint has been practicing equine dentistry since 1998. Dentistry is an integral branch of equine veterinary medicine. He is an accomplished technician as an Advanced Certified Equine Dentist. Clint is most known for his professional hockey career where he experienced a near death event while playing with the Buffalo Sabres. Today, he serves as a mental health advocate and is a professional speaker. Clint is also an honorary doctorate recipient and published author showcasing his biography, The Crazy Game. Most days Clint can be found practicing equine dentistry alongside Dr. Brian Peck at local ranches, stables, and at the homes of individual horse owners.

    Colleen Julian

    Administrative Assistant

    Colleen Julian resides with her husband Kevin and their son Cody in Minden, Nevada. They also have three adult children living outside the area. Colleen's upbringing was rooted in the pack-station industry. She pursued higher education and earned a degree in Business Administration, which led her to discover her true calling within the equine industry. Her career advanced as she managed several ranch and equine programs. Currently, Colleen immensely enjoys her role providing administrative support to Yellowstone Veterinary and enjoys the opportunities to work in the field, considering it her most cherished position to date.
